We are currently recruiting for a Construction Superintendent to join our team in Austin.

Summary:
The Project Superintendent will provide supervision on multiple projects. They should be competent to perform their role in a safe, high quality and productive manner. They must monitor and control all construction activities in collaboration with the project manager and the project team. They must maintain quality and job safety.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1) Communicate and work with the Client a) Communicate with owners and architects/engineers in connections with field issues. b) Develop and maintain customer relationships.

2) Responsible for Pre-Construction duties a) Walk the site with the foreman, project manager and inspector before construction commences.

3) Document Management a) Prepare and submit Superintendent’s daily reports. b) Maintain all project documents. c) Organize and separate the various project binders. d) Manage material invoices and bills.

4) Oversee Multiple Construction Projects a) Direct day-to-day in-site supervision of field labor force. b) Make decisions related to the performance of the work. c) Manage the construction schedule, delivery, logistics, and quality. d) Manage the project team and trade employee staffing levels. e) Oversee work among assigned projects and promote coordinated project operations. f) Resolve all local site conflicts. g) Manage overall site safety. h) Delegate work to project team. i) Create schedules and determine sequencing of work. j) Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule. k) Ensure that work is done in compliance with the project documents.

6) Complete all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization
7) Participate in Training and Certification programs

Requirements and Qualifications:
1) A high school diploma accredited college or university.
2) 6-8 years of on-site construction experience.
3) Foreman experience, Line and Grade experiences.
4) Knowledge and experience with formwork.

5) Bilingual in English & Spanish.
6) Must have the ability to multitask and must have problem solving skills.
7) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the Organization, as well as with Clients, Engineers, Architects and Vendors.
8) Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information regarding jobsite productivities, quality procedures and safety initiatives.
9) Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project and Outlook).
10) Knowledge of management tools like: Raken and Procore.
11) Ability to travel and work for extended periods of time on multiple projects.
12) OSHA 30 and other related certifications.
13) Ability to relocate to Austin or Greater Austin area.
14) A valid Texas Driver’s License.
15) Preferred: Prior experience in Road construction, Sidewalk construction, and Driveway construction with the City of Austin (COA) and Capital Contracting Office (CCO) contracts.
