**Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent customer service in a specialty food retail environment
- Warmly welcome customers and assist them throughout their store visit
- Build rapport through conversation and honest recommendations about our spice products based around the customers preferences, needs and desires
- Complete customer orders through our POS and Web pickup system.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area and displays clean, organized, and restocked as directed by management
- Assist in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year retail experience and/or relatable experience preferred
- Must be available for 2-4 shifts/week including M-F between 10am-8pm, and weekends
- Friendly, outgoing demeanor with a strong commitment to customer service - You genuinely like to connect with people
- Ability to express oneself clearly and persuasively when connecting with customers and making sales
- Calm, professional and able to problem solve
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Passion for food and flavor is a must
