On Call Youth Counselor

Duties:
- Develop and facilitate therapeutic activities and interventions to address specific needs of youth
- Assist in conflict management and resolution among youth in a safe and supportive environment
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as Caseworkers to provide active supervision
- Provide crisis management and intervention when necessary
- Support youth with special needs, including those with autism or PTSD, through tailored counseling approaches
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with youth and their families
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors and maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with special needs
- Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
