Residential Aide

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Aide to join our team. The Residential Aide will provide essential support to residents in a residential care setting, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines
- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Support residents with dementia care and memory care needs
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Collaborate with social workers and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for residents

**Skills**:

- Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility needs
- Experience in senior care or related field preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration protocols
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with home care practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

**Education**:

- High school or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- Behavioral health services: 1 year (preferred)
- Communicate effectively (verbally and in writing): 1 year (preferred)
- Organized and technologically savvy: 1 year (preferred)
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work with team: 1 year (preferred)
