Job Overview: Managing Scheduling Coordinator
Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
Nurse Scheduling:
Overseeing the coordination of the scheduling of Nurses to ensure coverage for all nursing shifts.
Matching Nurses with clients based on their skills, availability, and client preferences.
Handle scheduling changes and last-minute requests with efficiency and professionalism.
Client Scheduling:
Work closely with clients and their families to develop individualized care plans and schedules.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client schedules, making adjustments as necessary.
Communication and Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for caregivers, clients, and their families regarding scheduling-related inquiries.
Communicate scheduling changes and updates to all relevant parties in a timely manner.
Overseeing and managing with other Coordinators including administrators and Nursing Supervisors to ensure seamless coordination of care.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor Nursing punctuality and attendance to ensure reliable Nursing care.
Conduct regular reviews of schedules to identify and address any gaps or inconsistencies.
Follow up with clients and Nurses to gather feedback and address any concerns or issues.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of client schedules, Nursing assignments, and other relevant information.
Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Generate reports and provide updates to management on scheduling-related metrics and performance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
Previous experience in scheduling, coordination, or a related field, preferably in a healthcare or home care setting.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer service-oriented approach.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
