Windows and Doors Warranty Service Tech

We are seeking an experienced door repair/replacement tech with window glazing experience willing to travel:
North Boston, MA to Providence, RI

Service Technician must have General Liability Insurance and be able to travel to the locations above, to perform 6-10 jobs per month. Jobs in excess of 70 miles one way, will be quoted for pay and will be $300-$600 per job. Less than 70 miles, pay begins at $55.00 per hour, plus, mileage, disposal, your ladders or rentals. United Tech Services, UTS.Homes LLC, provides warranty service work for major door and window manufacturer's, throughout the United States and Canada.

Customers purchase and have installed the manufacturers windows and doors. If there is an issue while still under warranty, the manufacturers bring the service request to UTS, for techs to solve the issue. Parts are provided by the manufacturers, to be repaired or replaced in customers’ homes.

**Qualifications**
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- You must speak and act professionally.
- Need strong mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of door and window repairs and installation.
- Comfortable in handling customer relations in a professional and friendly manner.
- Require truck or trailer to transport doors, windows, and glass, to customers home.
- Your scheduling and completion of work orders determine your hours worked.
- Have access to helpers if the job defines more than one man needed due to size, weight, where on home

**Requirements**:

- Windows and doors, inspect, install and repair: (required)
- Tools and Transportation - Truck capable of transporting door units for door work. A-Frame truck would be a plus for window work. Hand tools to perform jobs. Scaffolding and large ladders a plus but not required (UTS can rent them)
- Techs schedule work requests with homeowners and complete work orders within a timely manner, per our manufacturer’s directions and guidelines
- Utilize automated system for scheduling work orders
- Must have proof of General Liability Insurance

**Work Location**:

- Various locations, Jobs received and scheduled via a cell phone app, Technicians download to their personal phone.
- As a Service Tech at UTS, LLC, you will be at the forefront of our operations, playing a pivotal role in the service, repair, and installation of windows and doors.
