Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef and Banquet chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, including food preparation, inventory control, and supervising kitchen staff. Your culinary expertise and leadership skills will contribute to the success of our establishment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan and execute menus in accordance with dietary guidelines and customer preferences
- Prepare and cook meals with attention to quality, taste, and presentation
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
- Collaborate with other departments, such as catering or banquet services, to meet customer needs
- successful banquet culinary experience - ( for the banquet position)
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures when possible
**Skills**:
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage kitchen staff
- Experience in catering or food service management is preferred
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and styles
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills for managing inventory control and ordering supplies

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
