JOB SUMMARY

The Volleyball Officials will be responsible for officiating intramural and varsity level volleyball games at Joint Base Langley-Eustis. The role requires ensuring continuous and reliable officiating services, adherence to game rules, and maintaining a professional demeanor during all games.

MAIN OBJECTIVES
- Officiate intramural and varsity level volleyball games.
- Ensure compliance with the United States Volleyball Association (USAV) rules and local base by-laws.
- Conduct pre-game inspections and rules reviews with coaches and team captains.
- Maintain accurate game records and submit scorebooks/sheets after each game.
- Communicate effectively with players, coaches, and other officials.

SCHEDULE OF WORK
- **Work Hours**: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST, Monday - Friday, excluding federal holidays. This is a part-time position with a total of 20 hours per week.
- **Flexibility**: Additional hours may be required based on game schedules and coordination with Win Win Operations.

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE
- Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Langley Air Force Base, Virginia (VA)

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
- The position is tied to the duration of the sports seasons, with potential extensions based on contract renewal.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified volleyball official with experience in officiating intramural and varsity level games.
- Strong knowledge of USAV volleyball rules and regulations.
- Ability to manage game flow and make quick, accurate decisions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of local base by-laws is a plus.
