Dispatcher

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling transportation services to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be essential in this role.

**Duties**:

- Receive and process customer orders for transportation services
- Dispatch drivers and coordinate routes for efficient delivery
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and update status
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates on delivery status
- Perform data entry tasks to accurately record information and maintain records
- Monitor driver performance and address any issues or concerns that arise
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Maintain a high level of phone etiquette when interacting with customers and colleagues

**Experience**:

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to type quickly and accurately for data entry tasks
- Knowledge of freight transportation processes and regulations is preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and excellent phone etiquette

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
