ETC is seeking new team members for **Assembler** positions in the Manufacturing** **department in Austin facility. Positions involve assembling parts to print and quality specifications, maintaining a clean and safe work area, completing labor reporting paperwork, and learning new tasks and assemblies.

**Representative Responsibilities**:

- Builds assemblies to quality standards and print specifications
- Maintains expected productivity output levels and completes assignments as scheduled
- Sets up, operates, and maintains machinery as needed
- Completes labor reporting paperwork daily, e.g. daily time sheets
- Follows ISO procedures, e.g., ECRs and NCMRs
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment
- Ensures after task is completed, floor is swept and tools are returned to designated area
- Adheres to safety standards at all times
- Follows safety and quality protocol
- Abides by safety procedures, work practice controls, and OSHA guidelines (wears protective equipment when required)
- Learns new tasks, procedures and assemblies as needed
- Listens to, understands and follows instructions while learning new assignments
- Recognizes unusual circumstances and asks questions when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
- Special projects and requests are completed in a timely and positive fashion

**Minimum Qualifications**: _Grade and level to be determined, based on experience_
- HS diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
- Good manual dexterity
- Able to operate hand tools and small power tools
- Able to follow simple assembly drawings
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Proven ability to understand and follow directions
- Basic English skills to understand quality, safety, work instructions, personnel information, etc
