The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will evaluate, repair, adjust, and maintain equipment, and rebuild and install as required industrial machines used in manufacturing and production operations. Must have own tools.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Ensures proper operation of large industrial equipment
- Use hand tools, and power tools, measuring instruments and lifting devices, jacks, hoist etc
- Ensures machines perform to specifications by conducting tests; modifies and fine tunes machines.
- Disassembles or dismantles machines to perform repairs
- Troubleshoots and repairs machines as required for safe operation.
- Performs preventive maintenance
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to weld a plus
- Electrical Experience a plus

Required Skills/Abilities**:Thorough and broad understanding of a variety of equipment.**
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough understanding of safety practices, guidelines & rules

Education and Experience**:Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED **Two years of experience in an industrial setting preferred

**Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing, stretching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling required.**
- **Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.**:

- **Visual acuity to properly inspect and modify large and detailed portions of machinery.**:

- **Manual dexterity to assemble, disassemble, adjust, and relocate machines.**
- **Pay Rate**:_$18 - $20 per hour, dependent upon experience

Monday thru Friday: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
