Human Capital Administrator

Your scope of responsibility

Assists with implementing Human Capital programs by providing Human Capital services, including employment processing, compensation processing, health benefits, training and development, records management, and completing personnel transactions.
Conducts new hire onboarding activities, conducts orientation, and completes all required paperwork.
Maintains employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Handles employee inquiries and supports HR-related matters, such as benefits, payroll, policies, and procedures.
Assists with HR reporting and data analysis and generates reports on key HR metrics as needed.
Ensures compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
Supports HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement, diversity and inclusion programs, company events, and training initiatives.
Performs benefits administration and communicates benefits information to employees.
Participates in administrative staff meetings and other meetings as required.
Processes monthly billings from insurance providers. Reviews billings for accuracy, codes, and advances for payment. Resolves discrepancies with carriers, payroll, and the Company.
Manages payroll activities, including processing payroll, ensuring the accuracy of timekeeping records, and addressing payroll-related inquiries.
Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; and maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

What you bring to OCI

Education, Experience, and/or Training
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and 2-3 years of experience working in a similar role
or
5+ years of experience in an HR-related role

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
General knowledge of employment laws and best practices
Experience in a manufacturing plant preferred.
Proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
