Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team. As a Purchaser, you will play a crucial role in managing our procurement process and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within our organization.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Compile data for analysis, ensure purchasing policy compliance, and monitor processes.
- Issue purchase orders and review documentation for fund allocation accuracy.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities and maintain purchasing records.
- Negotiate with vendors and oversee procurement processes.
- Process purchasing-related information and research contracts and suppliers.
- Respond to inquiries and perform assigned duties for efficient work unit functioning.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in business preferred.
- Two (2) years of purchasing experience required.
- Knowledge in project scheduling, purchasing, and shipping.
- Proficiency in MRP & Microsoft Office.

**Basic Expectations**:

- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Effective communication with non-technical individuals and engineers.
- Desire to enhance knowledge of engineering.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Strong work ethic.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
