Enamel Technician

**Primary Function**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Load tanks, fittings, and components into oven curing system, understanding parameters and settings to achieve the correct enamel curing process.
- Maintain and clean up all equipment at the end of shift.
- Understand and utilize inspection parameters to determine enamel coverage for quality and to drive out variation in coatings process.
- Operate and evaluate test equipment for proof of material characteristics.
- Complete necessary testing for new batch approval process and in-process batch attribute maintenance.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Aptitude for learning and understanding equipment, processes, and quality standards
- Attention to detail.
- Critical thinking skills and an interest in learning chemical process of enameling
- Competency to perform and verify laboratory experiments and testing.
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (preferred)

- Niles, MI 49120 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Niles, MI 49120: Relocate before starting work (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
