Multilingual Instructor for Pca

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Multilingual Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Instructor to join our team. As a PCA Instructor, you will be responsible for providing training and instruction to individuals seeking to become PCAs, with a focus on multilingual communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Develop and deliver training modules for PCA students, focusing on personal care techniques, communication skills, and cultural competency.

2. Provide instruction in multiple languages to accommodate diverse student populations.

3. Create lesson plans, presentations, and educational materials to support effective learning.

4. Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development.

5. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes cultural understanding and sensitivity.

6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in personal care assistance.

7. Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve the training curriculum and program effectiveness.

**Requirements**:
1. Fluency in multiple languages, with proficiency in English and at least one other language commonly spoken by the local community.

2. Prior experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a related field.

3. Proven experience in instructional design and delivery, preferably in a healthcare or education setting.

4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

5. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support others in their learning journey.

6. Certification or licensure as a PCA or equivalent credentials (preferred).7. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

- Alexandria, VA 22310: Relocate before starting work (required)
