**_Position Description_**

Perform a technical assessment of Air C2 systems Information Exchange Requirements (IERs), TDL interfaces and system requirements under assessment for verification or evaluation.

**_Responsibilities_**
- Provide recommendations on which test tools, data logging options, data reduction - post-test analysis support options are suited for use for Air C2 tests to be executed. Recommendation shall provide matrices of options matched to the IERs, TDLs and interfaces.
- Provide recommended alternatives for data collection and management, primary and secondary options.
- In support of test planning and coordination meetings, provide technical input with options to Test Director, Instrumentation and Data Management (IDM) lead, and Technical Support Officer (TSO) as requested.
- Configure, connect, and prepare data collection devices.
- Perform time synchronization on data collection devices to designated time reference (Zulu/Local) and/or report devices/systems not synchronized to test director.
- Start, monitor, stop and archive data collected daily throughout the course of the supported test event.
- Organize data files, logs, and test artifacts - within an organized file management system and on appropriate media - IAW designated Command policy and guidance from test director.
- Identify and report any data loss or data collection discrepancies at the earliest opportunity to test director, test execution personnel.
- Monitor test execution noting possible exceptions to TDL standards in real-time; reporting these possible exceptions to test execution personnel working in conjunction with government personnel to track verification of Problem Change Request (PCR) resolution, MIL-STD compliance, and potential new issues.
- If applicable based on system requirements, verify system compliance to current joint service approved version of Mil-Std-6016 with consideration to system IERs (Mil-Std-6016 mission functional areas.)
- Analyze collected system data to verify system compliance to current joint service approved version of Mil-Std-6020 with consideration to system interfaces and capabilities.
- Analyze collected system data to verify system compliance to current joint service approved version of Mil-Std-6017A/B with consideration to system IERs (Mil-Std-6017.)
- Analyze collected system data to verify system compliance to current joint service approved version of Mil-Std-3011 with consideration to system interfaces and capabilities.
- Analyze collected system data to verify system compliance to current joint service approved version of Mil-Std-6040 with consideration to system interfaces and capabilities.
- Analyze collected system data to verify system compliance to NATO Improved Link Eleven (NILE) references with consideration to system interfaces and capabilities.
- Perform interoperability and performance system assessment with consideration of CJCSM 6120.01 Joint Multi-Tactical Data Link Operating Procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis in support of test and engineering events.
- As required report data collected IAW the MCTSSA data management plan.
- Annotate observations of execution or deviations to TDLs standards within the test procedure.
- Execute post-test analysis and reporting within the time frame allocated by the test plan and using the forms, technical writing style and structure requested for use by the test plan/test director.
- Develop Test Plans, identifying the resources, schedule, and test cases required to achieve the test objectives.
- Develop Test Cases and Test Scripts to support systems under test and simulation tools.
- Develop scenarios and supports mission thread development.
- Develop Test Reports, ensuring that all stated requirements and test objectives have been evaluated and the documented results adequately and accurately reflect the collected data and analysis conducted during the event.

- CompTIA Security+
- JKO Joint Multi-TDL Network (MTN) Operations JT101
- TCP/IP Analysis and Troubleshooting with Wireshark
- Battlefield Operations Support System (BOSS) Standard User Training (SUT)
- Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) Standard User Training (SUT)

**Security Clearance Requirements**

Individual must possess a valid SECRET Clearance

**Travel Requirements**

Travel is anticipated to be 10% - 15% within the Continental United States and 5%-10% outside the Continental United States
