Description:
The Janitor cleans and keeps in an orderly condition factory working areas and washrooms, or premises of an office, or commercial or other establishments.

Duties involve a combination of the following: Sweeping, mopping, or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing trash and other refuse; dusting of furniture or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.

**General Responsibilities**:
Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.

Sweeps, mops, cleans, and vacuums floors.

**Requirements**:
**Other Qualifications**
- High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent work experience
- Basic cleaning skills with ability to work with cleaning materials required to disinfect

(i.e., Industrial disinfectant, industrial sanitizer, bleach/water solutions, etc.)
- Ability to work independently, in addition to following specific, detailed instructions
- Good communication skills
- Close attention to detail
- Individual must be capable of climbing stairs and being on his or her feet for up to 8 hours a day and lift

a minimum of 15 pounds

**Work Schedule**
- 2nd and 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:30am) available; flexible hours
- Full-Time (40 hours per week)
