Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate Live-In Caretaker to provide essential care and support to my Mother who has Parkinson's, osteoporosis, and incontinence. She requires support with mobility related tasks.

This is a live-in position. Room and board is provided in addition to salary.

My Father is also in the home but does not require assistance.

**Hours**:
5 days a week. On call at night for one to two bathroom visits per night. On call during the day with the exception of 4 to 6 hours during the day. Non on call hours to be agreed upon prior to commencement of agreement.

**Duties**:

- Assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, bathroom visits, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Create a safe and supportive environment
- Support coordination of medication schedule (medication administration is not required)
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized living space

**Qualifications**:

- Must have experience / education in proper lifting techniques and the strength to perform necessary lifts / transitions safely.
- Previous experience in patient care, home care, nursing home, or hospice care preferred
- Ability to drive to appointments or run errands as needed
- Experience working with people with Parkinson's is a plus
- Background in nursing, social work, or related field is beneficial
- Must be caring, compassionate, patient, trustworthy, honest, and reliable.

**Miscellaneous**:

- Gas/mileage reimbursement for use of caregiver's personal car
- Pets or guests not permitted
- We will perform a full background check
- Salary will be paid through a payroll platform for ease of withholdings
