_**Tuesday through Wednesday: 7:00 am to 9:00 am**_

At Hope Community Services we offer animal-assisted treatment utilizing different animals (small mammal, reptile, and equine) to interact with children during their therapy sessions. The Animal Care Taker assists by feeding, cleaning, and socializing with the different animals prior to therapy sessions.
- **Responsibilities**_**:

- Sanitizes/disinfects pet enclosures and general areas.
- Provides clean bedding and fresh water to each animal.
- Makes sure that each animal receives the correct type and quantity of food for each meal.
- Ensures pets have clean water at all times.
- Visually checks animals for safety and well-being.
- Cleans up pet excrement as needed. Checks and picks up excrement from enclosures as needed.
- Maintains and cleans food preparation areas.
- Performs daily laundering of pet bedding and towels.
- **Expertise & Experience**:_
- Professional animal care experience preferred.
- Displays a professional manner at all times.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Applicants are required to pass a drug test and obtain an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- **Physical**:_
- Must be able to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds on occasion.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently.
- Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
