**Responsibilities of a Deli Clerk/Delicatessen**:

- Educate customers on menu items and daily specials
- Take orders via in-person/phone in a timely manner and transmit to kitchen staff
- Deli preparation (i.e. make sandwiches and fresh salads)
- Operate deli slicers for cold cuts
- Replenish and stock service stations and display case
- Assist Deli Manager as needed
- Sanitize and neaten assigned work areas (dining bar, serving counter, floor, and deli cases)
- Comply with the dress/ health code

**Qualifications and Requirements of a Deli Clerk/Delicatessen**:

- Posses superior communication skills with customers and staff
- 2+ years of previous deli/ grocery store experience
- Ability to work efficiently in what can be a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be a 'team player' that promotes a positive work environment
- Prompt and reliable work ethic

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour

Shift:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Weekly day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- High school or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Deli: 2 years (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
