- Center for Urologic Care is looking for someone passionate about supporting our community by delivering an unmatched level of care by helping us expand our In-Office Dispensary Service. Our Dispensary Technicians s_upport the entire operation of Center for Urologic Care’s in-office dispensary, as we strive to deliver a service to our patients that allows them to receive their medications from their urologist at the time of service. This enables our patients to ask questions regarding the medication in person, and have everything they need to live a healthy life when they leave our office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Uphold and support the vision and values of Center for Urologic Care
- Preparation of medications for patients
- Perform insurance verification and prior medication authorizations
- Receiving and verifying the prescriptions
- Pricing and filling of prescriptions
- Obtaining physician’s approval prior to dispensing of medications
- Completing patient paperwork related to the filling of prescription
- Assisting with insurance claims processing
- Stocking and pricing of medications in inventory
- Performing inventory audits and purchasing supplies and medication
- Counting prescription medication, typing and attaching medication labels
- Ensuring availability of drugs for patient care
- Ordering medication inventory in a cost conscious manner
- Maintaining pharmacy’s (and its patients’ employees’) safety by adhering to infection-control procedures, policies and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally with clinical staff and patients regarding patient care needs.
- Work collaboratively with leadership team on strategies, ideas, solutions towards improving processes, work flows, revising policies or procedures which can enhance the patient experience, employee experience or the corporation.
