- We are currently seeking Inspection Technicians for full time positions at our Houston, Texas location. We offer a highly competitive salary and extremely attractive package of benefits._

**Responsibilities will include, but not limited to**:

- Field inspections of fired heaters using ultrasonic smart pigging techniques

(contracting to refineries such as Shell, Motiva, Citgo, Suncor, BP etc)
- Data analysis
- Report writing
- Equipment calibration & maintenance
- Day-to-day activities within the inspection department, such as training, orders, R&D etc

Full training will be provided

**Working Conditions**
- 40hr week when working from Houston (Willowbrook area) location
- Will be required to travel out of town, sometimes at short notice
- May be exposed to high level of noise, dust, vibration and chemical fumes (within OSHA limits)

**Hair follicle, urine and alcohol drug screens will be required**

**Requirements**:
**Minimum requirements**:

- NDT qualification in Ultrasonic testing or College Degree preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Able to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Able to comprehend and follow instructions
- Must be proficient in/with Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Data Analysis tools)
- Able to analyze information and utilize problem solving skills
- Able to work safely and effectively in a plant setting
- Capability to provide input and suggestions for solutions
- Aptitude for learning new technologies and concepts
- Dependability - the individual is consistently at work and on time, follow instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
- Safety and security - the individual actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly
- TWIC card eligibility is essential

**Physical Requirements (not limited to)**
- Able to climb on ladders and platforms
- Able to lift fifty (50) pounds without mechanical assistance
- Able to bend, twist, squat and lift
- Must be able to wear safety equipment as required for personal protection

**Preferred Qualifications**
- SNT-TC1A for Ultrasonic testing
- Some college preferred
- Experience of working in a mechanical environment
