As a Medical Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the healthcare facility. Your attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the overall patient experience.

Daily responsibilities included but are not limited to; Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar for multiple providers and locations. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient scheduling and minimize wait times. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and other healthcare professionals. Verify patient insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations and referrals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic medical system (EMA).
Assist with other front office tasks such as greeting patients, data entry, managing incoming and outgoing faxes.

Skills that will aid in the success of a medical scheduler; Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with patients, healthcare professionals and peers. Proficiency in using office systems (EMA) for scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Ability to work in fast-paced environment a must. Previous experience in a medical receptionist role is preferred. Knowledge of dermatology and/or medical terminology and procedures is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
