**YOUR DAY AS A LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE DESIGNER/PROJECT MANAGER**:
As a Landscape Architecture Designer/Project Manager at Mission Landscape Architecture, you will collaborate with the design team to create innovative and sustainable landscape solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing concept designs, preparing construction drawings, managing project timelines, coordinating with clients and contractors, and conducting site visits to ensure project success. With guidance from senior team members, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills in landscape design and project management while contributing to exciting projects in Irvine, California.

**WOULD YOU BE A GREAT LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE DESIGNER/PROJECT MANAGER?**:
To excel as a Landscape Architecture Designer/Project Manager at Mission Landscape Architecture, you should have a degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in landscape design and project management. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is essential for creating and presenting design concepts. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must to effectively coordinate project activities and collaborate with team members and clients. A keen eye for detail, creativity in design, and a passion for sustainability will set you up for success in this dynamic role based in Irvine, California.
- For each project, work with the Client to understand scope and goals for the project, develop and refine concepts into schematic design and then formalizing them in design development.
- Design skills to include hardscape design, planting design and experience with selection of hardscape materials.
- Experienced in developing and nurturing client and professional relationships.
- Experience in managing multi-family, retail, commercial / office and hospitality projects.
- Ability to collaborate with MLA team members in developing design presentations and construction documents.
- Experience in overseeing Construction Administration of projects.
- Coordinate with the Studio Manager in managing work flow and schedules for active design projects.
- Possess strong organizational skills.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to other MLA staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Adobe Suites and Sketch-up.
- Possess excellent knowledge of southern California plant material.
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture (or higher) is required.
- California Landscape Architect's license is preferred but not required.

MLA is a division of Mission Landscape Companies, a full-service landscape company. We are a team focused Landscape Architecture firm with support from Mission corporate for accounting, payroll and human resources.
