A specialty clinic, specializing in the use of Ketamine assisted psychotherapy for treatment of chronic mood and pain disorders.
We are Physician led, and at the forefront of Psychedelic treatments.
We are growing and looking for 1 Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team You will be the main provider at our new Tustin clinic, with a lot of opportunity for growth with us.
Schedule; part time initially, 8-6 (these are the average hours, but can be flexible). **We are still growing, so we will need you to commit to being in the clinic 2 set days a week, even if the schedule might be light for the day as we grow (1-2 infusions/day up to 6-7 when we get busier). We pay you for your time in the clinic. We do not change the schedule within a week of your work day, so if it's a light day, feel free to make other plans or pick up other work.** We plan to grow to 5 days a week once the need is there, and you will be offered those days if you want them before we hire a second provider. Once full time, opportunity for salary/benefits can be discussed.
Duties and responsibilities include; friendly/calming demeanor, vital sign monitoring, IV placement (**great IV skills are a MUST**), Ketamine infusion and IV med administration with assistant along side you in the room. You will take ownership of your patient's (text message/call them to follow up after each infusion, take patient schedule requests). We treat 1 patient at a time, low stress and you get to form personal connections with your patients. MD on call at all times for any questions/concerns.
Training in ACLS and **excellent IV placement skills are a must**.
