**Training Instructor Job Summary**

Our organization is looking for a **Administrative Assistant Training Instructor**. In addition to teaching individuals the skills and knowledge that they need to be successful in the professional world, you will also perform skills assessments or tests to track their individual progress. Since you will be instrumental to the success of these individuals, we expect applicants for this role to have significant experience in vocational training. You also need to have strong teaching and verbal communication skills. Position is responsible for supporting the administrative assistant training program. Trainer will provide assistance and support for administrative assistant trainees to become recognized professionals in the field of Administrative Assistants.

**Training Instructor Duties and Responsibilities**
- Provide group and individual instruction utilizing the most effective teaching strategies.
- Evaluate student skill competencies and job readiness and maintain accurate student attendance records.
- Manage classroom in such a manner as to ensure an environment conducive to learning. Complete and deliver written records and reports as required.
- Keep abreast of current practices and training methods.
- Develop and maintain clear and factual daily lesson plans integrated with instructional goals, academics, and administrative assistant standards.
- Maintain student files with emergency contact information, class rules, student discipline policy, student work, tests, and other documentation.
- Complete and submit required reports (e.g., student evaluations; student follow-up data) by requested deadlines.
- Maintain updated student attendance and grade information in the book provided (any other attendance records used for documentation must be pre-approved by executives).
- Maintain an updated substitute folder that includes emergency procedures, list of key personnel with phone numbers, lesson plans, bell schedule, dismissal information, class lists for attendance purposes, and other pertinent information for student learning.
- Attend staff development meetings, other meetings and trainings.
- Adhere to school and Training Center’s procedures and policies.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.

**Training Instructor Requirements and Qualifications**
- At least 5 years of experience in a corporate or as a professional in the Administrative Assistant setting is highly desired
- At 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office.
- At least 5 years' experience of Adult Vocational Training or Professional upskill training.
- Strong teaching skills
- Verbal communication abilities

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (required)

License/Certification:

- Teaching Certification (required)
