**Duties**:

- You will perform technical work in support of the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and custody of cash items which includes handling cash items or use of cash accountability control methods.
- You will examine documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation, compliance with regulations for goods and services provided to or by the Government, reimbursements for medical and domiciliary care, education, travel and transportation.
- You will follow procedures and regulations required to examine invoices, voucher, and related documents is required.
- You will determine pay, payroll records maintenance and completion of reports pertaining to civilian employees of the Federal Government.
- You will perform technician work in support of budget analysis and administration such as maintain ledgers, budget formulation, compiling, consolidating, checking and arranging funding data.

- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This is a Financial Management Level 1 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.

**Qualifications**:

- Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing account maintenance and accounting support work involving accounting systems, policies and prepare and analyze reports.- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

**Additional information**:
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
