The **Buyer ll **will manage purchased components and MRO requirements to support the production schedule and supplies needed to support the daily activities at the plant. This person will be responsible for effective communication and managing the relationships with our suppliers, managing incoming deliveries while at the same time maximizing inventory turns.

This position will serve our Eemax Division, located in Waterbury, CT.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Purchasing of materials and supplies to support production and the facility by utilizing our Oracle MRP System creating releases from our BPA Agreements as well as processing approved requisitions for facility needs.
- Ensuring on-time delivery of components by managing the delivery report and confirming delivery dates with suppliers.
- Manage and maintain item setups adjusting lead-times, min order quantities, and any other master data needing adjustments to accommodate the ever-changing supply chain environment.
- Ensure the right amount of inventory is kept in-house for production needs while at the same time, working to maximize inventory turns.
- Provide suppliers with a 12-month forecast and work with them to identify any concerns with supply.
- Work with Accounts Payable to resolve any outstanding invoices in a timely fashion.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Effective communication skills both written and oral with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be capable of managing multiple tasks daily.
- Efficient in Microsoft and problem-solving
- Familiarity of MRP Systems, Oracle a plus.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams consisting of associates from Global Procurement, Quality, R&D, Sales, Marketing, and any other areas within our organization.
