Under the direct supervision of the CNO, the Program Specialist oversees daily operation of evidence based practice/best practice programming. You will provide clinical supervision of program dynamics within the acute therapeutic milieu for patients. Supports program development and organizational objectives, while ensuring that patient goals for recovery, stabilization, and community re-integration are supported by appropriate services. Supervises and assists in hiring, training, and evaluation of Mental Health Technicians.
**Your Experience Matters**_ What we’re looking for:_
- **_
Education & Education: _**Graduate degree from an accredited school of psychology, social work, professional counseling, education or medicine.**_ _**:
- **_Experience: _**Five years’ experience in inpatient psychiatric setting or equivalent, preferred. Must have minimum one year of supervisory experience, preferred. Must be CPI and CPR certified, required.
- **_ Additional Skill Requirements: _**CPR certification and successful completion of training in CPI within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in restraining procedures. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours
