Pharmacy Technician

We are a closed-door pharmacy (walk in services not offered) that services long term care/group facilities ensuring the best quality of care. We achieve this goal by quickly and accurately providing easy-to-manage medications, we are an indispensable partner to ensure patients’ longer, healthier lives.
ProCare LTC (A Division of Clarest Health) is looking to hire **certified or Licensed Pharmacy Technicians **to work **on site out of our Southborough, MA location**. **Frameworks system experience a plus**.
**Available Schedules**: 4pm-12:30am Looking for fulltime employees not remote

**_About the role._**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Receiving drug prescription over the phone and in-person
- Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure
- Assist in prepacking frequently ordered medications, label and store, as needed
- Package materials and products manually
- Pull and/or pick medication from shelving and other medication storage areas
- Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication/product that is not scanning properly
- Maintain designated workstation areas and replenish all stock supplies needed
- Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA
- Comply with all applicable workplace safety regulations and policies, including the requirement to stand for extended periods as an essential function of the role
- Must be available to work 40 hours a shift
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Pharmacy Technician license preferred but not required
**Skills and Abilities**:
- Proven experience as a pharmacy technician (1-2 years Minimum)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator
- Quick and independent learner
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of Pharmacy law and medical terminology - a plus
- Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program
- not required but a plus
- Pharmacy technician certification is a plus
