Position Summary:
Educational Requirements:
- High school education, registered undergraduate student at American University.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have flexibility and be available to work shifts between 6:45am and 9:00pm, 7 days a week.- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be punctual starting at 6:45am on some mornings.- Must be a current undergraduate student enrolled at American University.- Adhere to health code standards at all times.- Provide impeccable and efficient customer service.- Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.- Be enthusiastic and able to present creative ideas and provide input on shop matters.- Take part in tasks involved with preparing espresso, catering, and coffee, and maintenance of the space.- Must maintain attention to detail when accomplishing all shop tasks including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and restocking duties.- Focus on shop duties even during slow times.- Learn the complexities and master the skills involved with producing quality coffee.- Must be mindful of product waste and work towards operating an efficient and sustainable coffee shop.

Preferred Requirements:
- Understand the proper usage of coffee brewing equipment.- Barista experience.- Food service experience.
