Overview:
The Village of Sharon Springs is seeking a full-time dedicated Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift 50lbs. Duties include but are not limited to street maintenance and landscaping. Opportunity for advancement to water and wastewater maintainer. Preference will be given to those who demonstrate a willingness to train for waste water and/or water treatment plant operations. Salary will be based on experience. Medical benefits/ NYS retirement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform physical labor
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools
- Street maintenance
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
- Landscaping

- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools
