Role Description:
As the Legal Assistant to the Director of Operations, your responsibilities will include:

- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Operations, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Coordinating and facilitating communication between various departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
- Conducting legal research and gathering data to support operational decision-making.
- Monitoring and tracking progress, deadlines, milestones, and following up on action items as needed.
- Acting as a point of contact for inquiries and requests related to legal and operational matters.
- Assisting the Director of Operations in the training of new staff members.
- Collaborating with the Director of Operations to identify areas for process improvement, particularly within legal operations.

**Requirements**:
To excel in this role, you'll need:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with being highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ensuring discretion and maintaining confidentiality, especially in legal matters.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, processes, and background experience is preferred.
