Arclabs Welding School is growing and we are adding to our team As a Student Recruiter, your job has two primary responsibilities. 1) You will recruit adult and high school prospective students, assess their educational needs, and explain the benefits and objectives of the programs offered. Recruiting students for our dynamic institution requires a customer-focused attitude, an ability to meet challenges head-on and a passion for changing lives through skills training. 2) You will also develop industry relationships with partners and businesses in the Houston area through business to business opportunities.

The position requires the flexibility to work evening and weekend hours when needed. This is a sales position and previous sales experience is desired.

**Typical Duties and Responsibilities**
The following are examples of typical duties. Other duties may be assigned. Essential duties will be identified on a more specific working job description
- Serves as a member of the Admissions Team managing a recruitment territory to assist in achieving enrollment goals.
- Report directly to the Director of Admissions.
- Achieve student enrollment goals and metrics established by Regional Director for each starting class.
- Achieve lead and business partnership goals established by the DOA each starting class.
- Actively generates referral (student and B2B business) to help maintain institutional goals.
- Implement recruitment strategies as outlined in the admissions plan in the assigned territory to include high school and/or community visits, job fairs, and special events.
- Initiates, plans, and executes special projects in conjunction with the goals and objectives of the school.
- Works with organizations in Houston such as TWC, Adult Learning Centers, Vocational High School, Veterans Administration and Job Connections.
- Provides admission presentations to prospective students.
- Advise students and families of admission requirements, financial aid, curriculum, and additional school information.
- Completes routine reports related to recruitment, projections, personal schedules, travel, special programs, and professional development.
- Complete daily call reports and weekly accountability reports.
- Follow-up with all students after workshops and career fairs.
- Follow-up with all business leads after initial meetings.

- Knowledge of Microsoft including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Previous proven success in presenting sales or training material
- Demonstrates the ability to work with a wide range of people and commitment to diversity
- Skill in effective communication
- Dynamic and energetic public speaker
- Self-motivated to meet business development needs of Arclabs
- Experience with and sensitivity to diverse populations
- Ability to travel and work a varied schedule with flexible hours
- Some supervisory skills and training experience
- Ability to represent the office and school in a professional manner
- Maintain a positive attitude that will promote a healthy culture and climate
