Dietary Aide

**Position: Dietary Aide**

**Location: BRENHAM NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER**

The Dietary Aide is responsible for providing food and other necessary items to residents in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This individual will assist with the dining services program as well as assist with the preparation of meals for residents in accordance with established guidelines. This individual will assist with the cleaning of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment as well as the general upkeep of the food service area.

**Core Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Ensures that all items are prepared in a timely manner and in accordance with established guidelines.
- Ensures that all food is properly stored, labeled, labeled and served according to established guidelines.
- Responsible for preparing and serving meals according to established guidelines.
- Responsible for ensuring that all food is properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Responsible for ensuring that all equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and stored in accordance with established guidelines.
- Responsible for ensuring that all items are prepared according to established guidelines.
- Responsible for ensuring that all food and other items are properly cleaned and distributed according to established guidelines.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Certificate or degree desired.
- Food Service Experience (preferred) Dietary Aide (required)
