**Job Purpose**

The Donor Services Manager is responsible for managing and improving all aspects of the donor experience for Rawhide constituents. This role involves overseeing gift data entry, processing, and receipting, ensuring database content integrity and utility, proposing systems that enhance the donor experience, and overseeing various fundraising initiatives and acknowledgment efforts.

**Essential Functions**
- Administer donor database to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and optimal workflow.
- Coordinate resources and timetables related to donor activities.
- Create reports, lists, and giving statements as needed for donor activities.
- Support the development team with projects and campaigns.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the Donor’s Philanthropic Goals
- Provide superior service and develop strong relationships with existing donors and advisors.
- Monitor Overall Activity of Existing Funds
- Respond to inquiries from fund holders, ensuring timely action for contribution and distribution requests.
- Measure Effectiveness of Donor Services Performance
- Establish and evaluate processes and procedures for donor services.
- Oversee Stewardship Processes and Donor Data Updates
- Oversee Gift Processing Tasks & Donor Services Process
- Record employee payroll deductions, enter memorial/tribute gifts, manage campaign pledge records, handle gift distribution, and more.
- Enter gift batches into the donor management database and follow established protocols for data entry and acknowledgment.
- Process daily downloads of online donations and constituent information.
- Maintain and Enhance Acknowledgement Process
- Monitor acknowledgment letters and develop additional strategies for gift acknowledgement processes.
- Prepare for Annual Audit
- Manage gift reconciliation and serve as a liaison to the Director of Finance for monthly reconciliation and annual audit preparation.
- Maintain Professional and Technical Knowledge
- Completing required trainings
- Attending educational workshops
- Reviewing professional publications
- Establish Personal Network and participate in professional societies
- Protects the Credibility of the Rawhide Mission

Performing other duties as directed or assigned by supervisor

**Qualifications**
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Deep commitment to Rawhide’s core values and ability to model those values in relationships with colleagues and partners.
- Undergraduate degree or at least five years of progressively increasing responsibilities in for-profit customer service or non-profit fundraising and donor services.
- Advanced proficiency using Raiser's Edge or equivalent constituent database.
- Donor or customer service management experience, including donation management, gift acceptance policies, donor acknowledgment best practices, and confidential handling of donor information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong data entry skills and accurate keyboarding skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
- Diplomacy, good judgment, and ability to work productively with a wide array of people.
- Ability to take initiative, follow through on projects, and develop policies with good judgment.
- Creativity, imagination, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adjust direction and strategies.

**Working Conditions**
- This position typically operates in a professional office environment. The role may involve occasional travel for meetings, training, or donor visits.
- Frequently required to sit, stand, and walk.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
