Optician/office Manager

We are a full scope private practice optometry office family owned in nob hill since 1949 We have one of the largest optical dispensaries in the city as well as fit regular and specialty contact lenses.
We are looking for a full or part time, knowledgeable, and friendly optician to join our team.
Some responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Providing the highest standards of customer service
- Dispensing Eyewear
- Optical sales
- Frame and lens selection (Stays current on product knowledge and fashion trends)
- Order processing and check that finished jobs meet our standards
- Eyewear adjustment and repair
- Communication with Doctor regarding patient recommendations
- Answering phones to assist patients
- Edging lenses on Mr. Blue 2.0
- Help with contact lenses and/or pre-testing if interested
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Professional Communication Skills
- Strong Attention to details
- Adaptable to change in a fast paced environment
- Teamwork oriented
- Excellent customer service skills dedicated to making people happy
- Natural ability in building a client following
- Polished Appearance
Office Hours are Monday - Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday from 8:30 - 12pm. We are looking for someone with flexibility in their hours.
