premier laboratory for land forces.

The Program Manager at the Army Research Laboratory plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the execution of cybersecurity initiatives that protect and advance the capabilities of the nation's premier laboratory for land forces. This position entails comprehensive management of diverse teams and resources, ensuring projects align with the strategic objectives of ARL. The Program Manager's leadership is crucial in driving innovative solutions that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of cybersecurity measures, directly impacting the laboratory?s ability to conduct critical research and development in a secure environment.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Perform project management for Cybersecurity led projects, including project planning, timelines, cost estimates, and resource requirements.
- Manage a diverse team of Cybersecurity professionals.
- Deliver monthly status reports outlining team accomplishments, ongoing technical problems, and future plans.
- Manage the A&A lifecycle for all ARL enterprise systems.
- Coordinate and strategize A&A plans for current and upcoming authorization and Authority to Operate (ATO) efforts.
- Develop and update Cybersecurity policy documentation and artifacts, such as System Security Plans and IT Contingency Plans.
- Implement higher command A&A guidance as directed by the ISSM.
- Manage the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) process, including maintenance, oversight, and process improvements.
- Prepare for and lead Annual Information System Contingency Planning (ISCP) Training/Exercises.
- Prepare for and coordinate Cybersecurity inspections for the organization.
- Complete risk assessments for Configuration Control Board (CCB) items and interact with the ARL CCB for enterprise changes.
- Evaluate technical innovation or new IT projects, providing Cybersecurity concerns or recommendations.
- Track and report funding and expenditures, categorizing costs as either operations or development related.
- Provide authorization letters for traveling ARL systems as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Cybersecurity policies and regulations across all ARL environments.
- Coordinate and facilitate timely stakeholder engagement for cyber incidents.
