Fortis Industries, LLC is interviewing for a full-time **Backflow Technician** at our Camp Pendleton, CA location.

**POSITION DESCRIPTION/ DUTIES**:

- Seeking a certified backflow tester and repair technician.
- Must have experience with repairing, replacing and installing most model backflow prevention assemblies.
- We prefer you to have a minimum of two years’ experience performing the same type of service.
- Test units for leaks and accurate pressure settings, using precision testing equipment.
- Record readings and installation data on Work Orders, or field service orders, or enter data into hand-held computers.
- Report hazardous field situations and damaged or missing units.
- Assist with installations and upgrades of equipment.
- Responsible for technical documentation, correspondence, and communication.
- Interact with customers and outside vendors.
- Must have good customer service skills.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must possess a Backflow Device Tester certificate issued by American Water Works Association (AWWA) or American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA)
- Must possess a valid class C CA driver's license.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass both a background check and a pre-employment drug screening (follows Federal guidelines) prior to hire.

**Rate of Pay**: $28.04 per hour + $4.41 health and welfare per hr. (to a max of 40 hrs. per week).
