French Instructor

**About us**

We are professional, agile, and creative and our goal is to depolarize the world through global connections in language learning. We are a boutique-style language school. I have been working alone for 5 years and am ready to expand. We work with children as young as 4 and adults as old as 75. Students live around the world. Richmond-based instructors are needed to increase lessons/class availability in the area.

**Duties**:

- Deliver engaging French/ESL language lessons to students & send feedback after every lesson
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Utilize instructional design principles to develop effective lesson plans and materials
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their language skills
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Incorporate technology and digital resources into the lesson to enhance learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

**Requirements**:

- Experience teaching French language to students of various ages and proficiency levels
- Knowledge of instructional strategies for adult education and special education settings
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in French and English
- Availability afternoons and weekends
- Zoom, Gmail, and Google Suite Proficiency
- Open-minded, non-judgmental, and accepting of all races, genders, and identities_

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated French Instructor to make a difference in the lives of students. This is a start-up. This is _not_ a full-time job but it can turn into one

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 3 per week
