**Clinical Admissions Coordinator Responsibilities**:
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and determine DSM-V diagnosis and appropriate treatment recommendations.
- Conduct insurance authorization with insurance/managed care companies, including clinical presentation, acuity, the rationale for continued stay, treatment goals, and discharge criteria.
- Communicate and collaborate with referring professionals.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation via electronic health records.
**Additional Responsibilities**
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team to provide direct patient care as needed (i.e. facilitating groups or therapeutic meals).
**Education, Competencies, and Credentials**:
- Master’s level clinician in social work, counseling, or closely related field
- Maryland License and Licensed eligible preferred (LGPC, LCPC,LMSW, LCSW-C)
- Previous experience working with eating disorder patients is highly preferred.
- Prior experience working with or in a managed care company is a plus.
**Hours**:40 hours per week M-F, potential for some remote work with one evening per week.
