**Position Overview**: A prestigious law firm is seeking a diligent and dependable Office Services Clerk. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations within the firm. We offer a supportive and professional environment along with a competitive compensation package.
**Qualifications**:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs of office-related equipment and supplies.
- Strong organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients, attorneys, and support staff.
- Commitment to confidentiality and accuracy in all related work.
- Experience operating office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Understanding of US Postal Service and express mailing services (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide mailroom services, including sorting, distributing, collecting, and metering mail and parcels accurately and timely.
- Assist with scheduling courier services.
- Produce copies, prints, faxes, and scans as per written or verbal requests.
- Schedule outside copy services when needed.
- Set up and clean conference rooms, ensuring they are stocked with appropriate supplies and ready for use.
- Assist with the delivery and setup of catering needs for meetings.
- Prepare offices and workstations for new hires, ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Coordinate service calls for mail/copy room equipment as required.
- Monitor and maintain general supply levels, restock, and coordinate reordering.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of shared office spaces such as copy rooms, file rooms, and kitchen areas.
- Perform incidental cleaning, dusting, and other related tasks.
- Organize and distribute kitchen and coffee area supplies.
- Provide backup support for the front desk, including greeting clients, answering incoming calls, and scheduling conference rooms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
