Server/bartender

Duties:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register or POS system
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol-related laws and regulations
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent overconsumption or disruptive behavior
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food orders and catering events

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a bartender or in the hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for cash handling
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with Square POS system or similar software is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be at least 21 years old, as required by law

Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour
