Crossfit Trainer for Athletes with Neurodiversity

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CrossFit trainer with experience working with athletes with disabilities in particular neurodiversity. As a trainer, you will be responsible for providing small group classes with athletes with and without disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse clientele and make a positive impact on their lives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Coach CrossFit classes for kids without disabilities as well as small group CrossFit classes for kids and teens with disabilities
- Provide safe, effective and fun classes
- Instruct and demonstrate proper exercise techniques to ensure safety and maximize results
- Motivate and inspire athletes to stay committed to their fitness journey
- Discuss weekly topics with athletes at the end of the class including eat, sleep, think, connect and moving
- Connect with families on how to help his or her child be more successful
- Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to their training programs as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workout environment
**Experience**:
- Proven experience as a CrossFit Level 1 trainer or higher, preferably working with diverse client populations.
- RBT-Registerd behavior technician or special education background a plus
- Can be motivated to take CrossFit Level 1 in first few months and already having a personal training certification or exercise science, allied health degree
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics
- Excellent communication skills utilizing visual, verbal and gestural communication styles.
- Highly flexible and able to modify class based on the energy of the class
- Be able to de-escalate situations before they become more serious

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
