Banquet Servers

The DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol is looking for experienced Banquet Servers. This position would be per-diem on an as needed basis.

You would be responsible for delivering great customer service to all guest. Beverages to be made for guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Set up banquet room as requested by the supervisor including glassware, service ware, linen and other items.
- Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guest feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them.
- Serve the beverage and food in the appropriate order and in tune with the expectation of the supervisor so as to ensure consistency throughout the banquet.
- Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards.
- Present and serve beverages to guests.
- Attend pre-shift meetings before events kick off in order to learn function particulars, including hotel and guest expectations.
- Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Thorough knowledge of spirits, cocktail recipes, preparation methods, glassware, equipment and service.
- Exceptional guest service skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to stand, bend and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively during shift.
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour
