Personal Caregiver

This position offers flexible, as-needed caregiving opportunities. You'll become part of a pool of caregivers available to fill in when needed, whether for short-term assignments or to cover shifts due to unforeseen circumstances. Your schedule won't be fixed; instead, it will depend on your availability and willingness to take on shifts. However, there's potential for ongoing cases based on client requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
- Administer or remind clients to take prescribed medication
- Aid clients in mobility, both within their homes and outside for appointments or strolls
- Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming, including bathing
- Collaborate with clients on meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks that clients are unable to complete
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Report any incidents promptly and accurately
- React swiftly and appropriately in emergencies
**Skills Required**:
- Minimum of 3 years' proven experience as a caregiver
- Proficiency in emergency response and first aid procedures, including CPR
- Familiarity with housekeeping duties and cooking, considering dietary restrictions
- Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
- Compassionate and respectful demeanor
- Strong time management abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ethical conduct
- Physical stamina to meet the demands of the role
- High school diploma or equivalent
