**Location**: Ipswich Public School District (Winthrop SchoolPosition: Full time CustodianSchedule: Mon Fri 2pm to 10pmBenefitted Union PositionGENERAL SUMMARY: Performs custodial work insuring the overall appearance, cleanliness, safety and security of the School Facility. Under the direction of the Facilities Department leadership & School lead Custodian the custodian is responsible for the efficient completion & cleanliness of assigned work. Makes occasional contact with contractors. Performs task to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of School facility; assists with set-up and break-down of activities at the school and other various assignments to support the Facilities Department and the School staff.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: -Maintains inventory control, stores custodial / maintenance materials for School.
