As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and **experienced** Wastewater Operator/Process Control Specialist to join our team.

Full time hours are: 8:00am - 4:30pm, with paid on-call rotations

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and processes, including pumps, valves, RBCs, MBRs, filters, and chemical feed systems, etc.
- Monitor wastewater treatment processes, including flow rates, chemical dosages, and treatment performance, and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency and compliance.
- Conduct routine tests and analysis on wastewater samples to assess treatment effectiveness and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance tasks to address equipment malfunctions and ensure uninterrupted operation of the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of plant operations, including process data, test results, maintenance activities, and chemical usage.
- Prepare reports for regulatory agencies to demonstrate compliance with environmental regulations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; and a minimum of a 4M license in wastewater.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in wastewater and 2 years in process control, with a strong understanding of treatment processes and equipment.
- Proficiency in process control principles and techniques, with experience in adjusting treatment processes to optimize performance.
- Good physical condition with ability to lift and carry 65 lbs.
- Active driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Solid mathematical skills and basic ability with computer programs, PLCs, HMIs other operational and monitoring systems.
- Ability to work well with others as a team member with a positive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of various mechanical systems, SCADA associated with the treatment process, pumps and the ability to troubleshoot associated equipment.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations governing wastewater treatment, with experience in regulatory compliance and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and regulatory agencies.
