To be responsible for cleaning and tidying the hotel bedrooms. In doing so, they must:

- Do the domestic work required, including changing the bedclothes and cleaning and replenishing the bathroom
- Check the general condition of the room and notify the supervisor of any malfunction or damage
- Thoroughly clean the bathroom area. Wash shower stall, sink, floor, toilet, etc.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Must be available to work weekends
- Assist with the stripping of dirty linen from the guest rooms.Sort linens for washer.Remove stains from badly soiled linen.Disposes of linen and terry properly. Operate washers and dryers properly. Ensures that the right chemicals and amounts are being used. Also ensures that the proper amount of linen is being placed in each washer. Folds all lines to hotel standards and stocks in the designated places.Washes bed skirts, duvets, mattress pads and blankets in accordance with hotel standards.Keeps laundry area neat and clean.Handles all laundry chemical products properly and advises housekeeping supervisor of inventory levels.Assists housekeepers in the cleanliness of the hotel when laundry is slow or work is caught up.Assists with the cleaning and upkeep of all storage areas.Any other duties as assigned.
