Children's Dental Health has an immediate opening for a **Dental Assistant** to join our close-knit teamin our **Warrington/Plymouth Meeting **location(s).

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the highest quality dental care possible. You will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments, take X-rays, maintain patient records, and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal assistant for our team has a calm disposition and a talent for building rapport with young patients, who may be scared or anxious.

**Schedule **-** **Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm & Friday 8:00 am -4:00 pm. This position will rotate between the Plymouth Meeting and Warrington, PA locations.

**Addresses**:920 Germantown Pike Suite 112, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 & 2210 Shetland Dr, Warrington, PA 18976.

**What You Will Do**:

- Must be able to work in a pediatric, child friendly environment
- Ensures consents, notes, and patient records are accurately maintained
- Plan, implement, and evaluate dental care for patients based on specific patient needs and according to dentist?s orders
- Clean and sterilize all instruments following OSHA and company standards. This includes; scrubbing instruments, packing the instruments and processing them through the statim or autoclave sterilizer
- Delivers instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access

**What You Will Need**:

- At least one (1) year of experience as a Dental Assistant **OR **completion of a Dental Assisting program
- Radiology Certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire)
- CPR Certification
- Demonstrated desire to work with children in a pediatric setting
